Job Summary

Support the implementation of key marketing activities within the company to ensure that all marketing efforts add value to the business.

Has a direct responsibility on social media management and content generation, with the support of the Head of Marketing, for increasing the company’s brand awareness and results in lead generation in core target markets through the effective use of digital marketing and social media channels.

Contributes and provides feedback on other marketing projects, such as lead generation SEO, SEM, events, branding, webinars, referrals etc. Also supporting the sales team is lead identification and qualification.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • A key Contribute to the execution of marketing and annual sales plan.
  • Contribute to the planning of content marketing plan with specific targets and audiences.
  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.
  • Implements the content marketing program by distributing/publishing scheduled content for stimulating visits on company sites, and encouraging audience participation through engaging written graphic, and video content.
  • Lead daily community management across all company’s media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
  • Supports the Head of Marketing in the optimization of content following search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC).
  • Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers.
  • Analyses and reports on performance on audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects.
  • Supports the conceptualization and realization of marketing assets (brochures, flyers).
  • Provide support to the sales team in advising on sector events happing in target markets an as well attends to events to increase brand awareness in local events such as fairs.
  • Provide support to the sales team in lead identification and qualification when needed and communicate through the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
  • Production of Monthly reports, including analyzing any trends.

Desired qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification, or evidence of training/development/experience in social media marketing and management.

Required Experience

  • Experience in creating & delivering content marketing programs that inform customers/prospects and drives leads & sales.
  • Desirable to have some experience or knowledge of paid marketing campaigns.
  • Strong written English.
  • Previously worked in a multi-national environment.

Desired Experience

  • An understanding of the Agricultural Sector, technical sales, or cooling infrastructure is an advantage
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate messaging internally
  • Strong numeracy to allow analyzing of marketing data
  • Ability to work in an independent manner as well as a team member, with an ability to communicate critical thinking
