InspiraFarms welcomes in new Head of Finance
We are pleased to welcome Stephen Karanja Wagacha as the new Head of Finance.
Stephen brings to InspiraFarms Cooling over 12 years of experience in finance and accounting experience from across various industries including Education, Business Consultancy and the Renewable Energy Solutions Sector. His experience cuts across East Africa and beyond, where he has spent his career in progressively senior financial management positions in various organisations, steering them on the path to growth and stability.
In 2016, Stephen joined Twiga Foods Ltd as a Senior Accountant, playing a critical role in the formation of the Finance and Accounting unit, and building an exceptional team that supported the rapid growth of the FMCG business. In 2019, he took on a role as Financial Controller at Glosec Group, Kenya, a group of three companies headquartered in the Netherlands, providing solar and energy solutions and security systems integrations for government projects and the private sector across the African continent.
Stephen is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA.K) with the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK), holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Strathmore University and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
As the Head of Finance, Stephen will continue to upscale the finance department by planning, implementing, managing and running all our finance activities and giving the best financial solutions to our clients, investing in cold chain solutions.
